- British Gas Roadshow

XL worked for Lodestar events to provide AV support for the British Gas Road show. This was a series of events throughout the UK to gain feedback from its employees and improve communications. The National roadshow covered 10 venues in just over 2 months. Each location consisted of one day's build followed by an average of two show days. The show was packed down, loaded and transferred to the next location on each final show day.

In the main room XL provided two projectors for videos and presentations in a 16x9 format, delivering future company plans, while twenty of the latest 24” LCD monitors supplied interactive and intimate presentations in 4/5 people clusters .

XL were also responsible for all sound equipment via multiple sources, including radio microphones for presenters and hand-held audience microphones for the all important Q&A sessions.

Two 18” D&B subs supplied the bottom audio end while six D&B high end speakers suspended from the set construction and two encased in the run way stage for the presenter ensured a crystal clear well adjusted sound.

XL also supported the experimental area, which included six individual spaces delivering different messages. Each space had its own information delivered via interactive MP3 earpiece technology via a central system. We linked into this system for a main message relayed via projection to a main 16x9 screen and relayed the visual using plasma screens.
