XL Video UK supplied video equipment and crew for the acclaimed Help for Heroes gig in Twickenham Stadium, Surrey, including LED for the massive scenic 'H' feature that set the visual scene, along with a full IMAG/camera/HD PPU package.

Chris Saunders project managed for XL and also designed and spec'd the production video elements of the show. He comments, "The H was a very ambitious set piece to construct and needed precision and immense attention to detail - but the results were well worth all the effort".

The frame of the H was built by Steel Monkey, and XL's team spent 10 days at their premises in Bristol, fitting the 650 Barco MiStrip pixel strips to it.
Onstage, XL supplied 336 panels of Pixled F15 LED screen, arranged in 14 upstage surfaces, 4 panels wide by 6 high which served as a dynamic digital backdrop to the show.

Either side of stage for IMAG footage were another 2 screens, made from 9 x 7 panels of Lighthouse R7 high resolution LED.

The 4 camera PPU utilised Thomson LDK 8000 cameras and was directed by Ruary MacPhie and mixed using a GV Kayak switcher
