- Samsung Corby Launch

XL Events working for Jack Morton Worldwide, provided the 3D screen that was integral to the launch of the new Samsung Corby mobile phone, at Milan Fashion Week.

Using Musion holography and Barco FLM 18 HD projectors, the resulting effect was a fully immersive presentation that really pushed the boundaries of interactive content.

XL provided double HD projection onto 4 walls at 30m wide per wall with dual layer HD playback on each wall running simultaneously, using content supplied by the client's creative team.

The objective was to create a 3D illusion all whilst the audience was in the same room, making for a very acute projection angle.

As well as the playback we had cameras providing IMAG content to the front and side surfaces.

XL provided 3 double stacked 10k HD projectors on each side and on the rear wall with Barco FLM HD 20k projectors on the main and front wall.
All projectors were fed HDSDi signal via HD projection looms. Content was played via 5 Catalyst media servers with a 6th server acting as control.

XL also provided a 3 camera HD PPU with our new Sony HXC-100 camera channels.
