XL Events supplied Production Company Jack Morton with an extremely complex projection line up for the Mobile Wold Congress in Barcelona.

24 projectors were used to cover 4 walls, each 33m x 8m giving a 360 degree seamless video wall to immerse the viewer in the action.

XL's head of projections Warren Galt handled the complex install which saw 3 stacks of twin Panasonic 10K HD projectors with 33% blends for each wall! This wouldn't have been too bad had it not been for the 0.8 lenses causing the image to bow, compounded by the fact that the image was 8m high!

The content was HD on each wall run via 6 catalyst media servers that were networked together to play out the custom made, pixel accurate content.

A truly excellent event with some amazing visual imagery that pushed the boundaries in many areas.
