Timelapse photography can be an excellent way to document long periods of time into a more viewer friendly format. XL Video recently used ultra high quality cameras to capture one of the world’s most impressive tours taking up residence in Wembley Stadium.

The U2 360˚ tour is a huge and pioneering test in what's possible in a live arena, using a specially built stage with rotating platforms the audience can be seated all the way around the stage and experience the concert from all angles.

To document the Wembley dates of the tour, XL Video used its time-lapse cameras to record every moment from the turf being covered, through two nights of performances right up to the very last truck rolling onto the next venue. The cameras memory cards were returned to XL Videos Creation Studios where the footage was edited, graphics were created and the final product was turned into a DVD that was sent out to members of the crew as a fitting memento to an amazing tour.
